Bio-Pesticide

Biological control with pathogenic fungi is a promising alternative to chemical control against Rhinoceros Beetles (Oryctes rhinoceros L.). Biological control with pathogenic fungi might provide long-lasting insect control without damage to the environment or non-target organisms. Metarhizium anisopliae is one of several natural agents for controlling a broad range of insects by direct penetration of the host cuticle. Using this fungus as a microbial based insecticide is usually a part of an Integrated Pest management.
Metaxorb®, a product developed and commercialized by Myagri contains the beneficial fungus Metarhizium anisopliae, formulated to work against the Rhinoceros beetle; a major pest in young palms. Metaxorb® is a true bio-control product as it uses nature’s own predator against the pest itself. The fungus upon attaching itself to the larvae or beetle will devour it from inside out.

MYCOgold®

MYCOgold® is a product containing a mixture of several species of beneficial soil fungi, Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) which have been locally isolated from different locations and soil series. Mycorrhiza is a native soil fungus that is known to form symbiotic relationship upon contact with the plant roots and enhances roots development. This will then help the plants to better absorb nutrients from the surrounding soil area.
Each bag of MYCOgold® contains mycorrhizal hyphae, infected root bits and viable spores with sterilized sand as the carrier medium. It contains 95% of endo-mycorrhizal spores and 5% of additives that assists in prolonging the life of mycorrhizae in MYCOgold®. These additives also assist in improving the efficiency of MYCOgold® in the field.


MYCOblend®

MYCOblend® is a green based semi-organic fertilizer blended with the beneficial soil fungi, Arbuscular Mycorrhiza, formulated with the right balance of NPK and is fortified with micronutrients in an semi-organic mix with an optimal C:N ratio.
The raw material for the organic component of MYCOblend® comprises plant wastes such as Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB), sludge, Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) and it does not contain animal waste. This semi-organic mix is essential for good soil conditioning and rehabilitation. The added mycorrhiza fungi will associate with plant roots as the root development enhancer and in combination with essential N:P:K:TE (5:3:5:1) nutrients and trace elements, MYCOblend® will serve as a suitable semi-organic fertilizer to cater to your plants’ needs.

MYCOgold® plus PSB

MYCOgold® Plus PSB is a product containing a mixture of several species of beneficial soil fungi, Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) and Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB). Mycorrhiza is a native soil fungus that is known to form a mutually beneficial relationship with plant roots. It induces better root establishment, growth and mass. PSB comprises beneficial bacteria that is able to hydrolyze organic and inorganic Phophorus (P) from insoluble compounds, i.e. making P more available to the plants


D’COMP BIO-PLUS

D’Comp Bio-Plus is an on-site decomposting agent employing the use of the Trichoderma sp fungi. It is used in Myagri’s Zero Burning Program (Program Subur Tanpa Bakar) as a substitute to the conventional burning method for land clearing and preparation of paddy fields. Complete decomposition of residual matter in the paddy field is estimated to be within 30 days after application of the product. The concept for the use of this product is convenience, effectiveness and cost-saving in managing paddy field residues.
